This is one of the projects completed by Seamless Construction, we carried out 90% of the work on this new build property.
Ibstock were the manufacturer who supplied the bricks. The rustic look gives the appearance that the property isn't brand new, as the customer required.
We fitted stone sills under all the windows and a double plinth course was used around the entire building. We used an oversail course up the verges and a dental course below the eaves to the whole perimeter. This meant that plastic fascia boards which fade and need replacing after some years were not needed.
We fitted underfloor heating to both the ground and first floors. There were approximately 1500 meters of pipe used in total over the two floors. This a great alternative to radiators and frees up valuable wall space.
We used a liquid screed instead of conventional screed - this gives a near perfect finish a fraction of the time. This method of screeding is always a better option when using under floor heating. With conventional screed you can end up with small gaps around the pipes which gives poor heat transfer.
The inside of the property is now ready for plaster boarding.
Refurbishment of a factory unit.
We were called to this job after the tenant vacated the unit and left it in a poor state of repair. The landlord was unable to re-let the building.
We removed blockwork offices the tenant had built and left. We also removed steelwork structures, repaired the floors with self-level compound and holes in the walls filled. We then painted the complete unit.
The toilets were then re-tiled and the offices fitted with new carpet tiles.
As you can see the unit now looks great and can be easily re-let.
